Anna spent a year teaching in Japan before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) where she qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990.

She worked with clients in a wide range of industry specialisms, including retail, manufacturing and financial services. She has worked with a number of Yorkshire based plcs as well as small and medium sized businesses.

She left public practice in 1999 to work in industry where she has gained significant financial management experience.
